O,Denneboom, O,Denneboom It was a cold and blustery morning, luckily without the forecasted rain, when we gathered in Trawden to choose and cut our “Lights of Love” Christmas tree generously donated, for the second year running, by Bernard Ross. Christmas Tree Festival

Church continues to be a hive of activity as we prepare for our Christmas Tree and Music Festival. The event is launched with the switch on of our Lights of Love Christmas Tree outside church at 7:30pm on Friday 1st December. The short ceremony is followed by mulled wine and mince pies in church. The tree’s lights are dedicated to loved ones who will receive a Christmas card telling them that a light is lit in their honour. Christmas Table Decoration

    Christ Church have been very fortunate to have enjoyed the magnificent flower arrangements created by Pat Ormerod throughout the beautiful seasons in each year ever since Joyce Whitehouse retired over fourteen years ago.
