How to Give
Members of our church give generously of their time and money to support the ministry activities and services, pay for staff and provide the resources to make church happen. Giving is an important expression of our worship. For information on how to serve the church with your time see our volunteering page.
This is a brilliant way to give: knowing we have regular committed giving, helps us to plan how to service God here at Christ Church Colne. To give regularly, you will need to set up a monthly standing order with your bank. To do this, complete this standing order form and return it to us. Alternatively, you can donate online, using the link on this website.
Please note that a collection plate is no longer circulated during the Sunday Services. There is, however, a collection plate in the narthex or you can pay by card using our 'Tap and Pay Donations Machine' which is situated by the outer doors in the narthex. If you would like to send us a cheque, please make it payable to:
Account: Christ Church DCC Wardens Account
A/C no: 06164765
Sort code: 01-02-20

If you pay UK Tax (income or Capital Gains Tax and would like us to claim back the basic rate tax, you will need to fill in, sign and return to us a Gift Aid Form (pdf) This will mean that Christ Church Colne can recover the basic rate of income tax, currently 25p for each pound you give (if you pay higher rate tax you may recover this through your own tax return).
If you have any questions, please contact Maureen Bebbington - firstname.lastname@example.org
Volunteering is at the heart of Christian service and discipleship. We also often term it stewardship of time and talents. Whether working with children and young people, helping serve tea and coffee after a service, or serving on the cleaning rota; our churches are dependent on volunteers.
We try to make it easy for everyone to volunteer in our church, so there is no set minimum requirement or amount of time you can serve.
If you would like to volunteer at Christ Church, Colne, we’d love to hear from you, just use the contact form on the website to tell us how you can help and we will get back to you or email one of the Church Wardens David Foster email@example.com or Ozwald Rudolph firstname.lastname@example.org
